finding god
You don’t become God by ascending.
You become God by being broken where no one comes to rescue you.
There is no father sitting on the throne, waiting to give you a helping hand at every inconvenience. No, he turns away and waits for you to find yourself. You look around and see that even the best of friends can’t help you. It’s beyond them. You search for a hero outside of yourself and it leaves God disappointed. That is the secret Christ left in the open. The strength in humiliation and suffering is something you find in the dark when you are rock bottom. When you scream there, nobody hears, hope is just a four-letter word, fear becomes reality and then you find solace in pain. That’s the rebirth happening. When God is born in a human. You don’t look up to the sky for help anymore. You look up to say I’ll do this with or without you but you still thank heaven for the suffering. For self realisation and for giving you a chance to fully transform without interruption. You thank God for looking away. You now understand why Jesus was humiliated and killed for him to become the saviour.
Your collapse will be visible, your prayers will go unanswered, your loved ones will stand at a distance, you will ask why and receive nothing.
But in nothing you will find that God is no longer above you, he is forming inside you. Christ didn’t die at the cross, it was where his human experience peaked. Pain, humiliation, death. What seems to be the flaw in our great design is indeed the tool needed for transformation. You have to appreciate HIS sense of humour.
Quite cheeky but when you sit down and think about it. It all connects. Is your suffering just another pointless experience in life’s journey or a total part of the plot leading to your transformation?
